Welcome to the Flight Track ONE FAQ. Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about setup, features, and troubleshooting.

What is Flight Track ONE?

Flight Track ONE is an advanced head-tracking app for iOS, designed to give you smooth, immersive cockpit views in X-Plane. Using Apple’s TrueDepth camera, it turns subtle head movements into natural in-sim camera motion — no additional hardware required.

How do I connect Flight Track ONE to X-Plane?

Just make sure your iPad/iPhone and your computer are on the same Wi-Fi network. Flight Track ONE automatically detects X-Plane through its published UDP protocol. Tap Start Tracking and you’re ready to fly — no IP addresses or manual setup needed.

Do I need X-Camera?

No. Flight Track ONE works with default X-Plane view controls out of the box.

If you use X-Camera, support is fully integrated: the app will recognize it automatically and handle all views dynamically.

What devices are supported?

  • iPhone and iPad with a TrueDepth camera (Face ID).

  • iOS 17 or later recommended.

Older devices without TrueDepth are not supported.

Is internet required?

No. Flight Track ONE works entirely offline — only local network connection to your X-Plane computer is needed.

Does it work on Windows, macOS, and Linux?

Yes. As long as your computer runs X-Plane and is connected to the same local network, Flight Track ONE will connect automatically.

How much does it cost?

Flight Track ONE is a one-time purchase on the App Store. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
